Susan Buettner
Susan Buettner serves as President of the Board of Directors for No Footprint Too Small, where she helps guide the organization's mission of walking alongside families through pregnancy loss and infant death.
Susan and her husband Bill know that journey personally. Their family was built through both loss and love, with four daughters following multiple miscarriages. That experience shapes how Susan shows up for NFTS families, with the quiet understanding that grief and gratitude often live in the same room.
Professionally, Susan is the Designated Broker and Owner of Black Tie Realty, serving the Lincoln and Omaha metro. A recovering attorney, she spent years in law and family-focused programs with Lancaster County and the State of Nebraska before transitioning into real estate. Those chapters gave her a working knowledge of how systems can either support or fail families in their most vulnerable moments, a lens she brings to her board service.
